PoliLaw Network Foundation it is a non-profit company registered under Sec. 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. The Foundation runs all its activities under the initiative namely; PATH (People’s Action Towards Humanity).
It is a collective of young lawyers, hailing from the rural and tribal regions of Central India. The organization specifically works with the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG), Farmers and other marginalised communities in Gadchiroli, Yavatmal and Chandrapur districts in Maharashtra. Most of the part of this region comes under the Tribal Sub Development Plan and Aspirational District Program of NITI Aayog due to low level of development, poverty and backwardness.
OUR MISSION
To work on the socio-economic upliftment of marginalized communities by dismantling discriminatory social hierarchies and ensuring that their fundamental guarantees, as outlined in both domestic and international frameworks, are safeguarded and upheld.
Objectives
Conduct research and analysis to address fundamental issues affecting Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) and marginalized communities
Facilitate access to judicial and quasi-judicial institutions for underprivileged communities, ensuring they can avail themselves of legal remedies.
Enhance legal literacy among marginalized communities to foster a more equitable society.
Create an inclusive educational environment, particularly for students from marginalized communities, providing them with equal opportunities for higher education and capacity-building programs tailored to enhance their skills and knowledge in the legal field.
